Biography

Walter is a happy, friendly, and playful pup that is approximately 3 months old.

Walter has made lots of new friends in his foster home and loves to play and wrestle with them. He loves toys, chew bones and especially training treats. He’s a very smart little fella and is picking up on training very quickly. He’s learned sit and crate, is very food motivated and happy to learn new things. One of his favorite activities is playing in the baby pool and chasing the water from the garden hose. Walter is happy to settle down and take a nice long puppy nap or chew on a bone after a good play session.

Walter’s perfect home will require a fenced yard, no apartments, or electric fences. He will also need a friendly canine companion for him to romp and play with to burn off some of that puppy energy. Walter’s new family should be at home often as it’s hard on a young pup to be crated for long periods. He is very smart and active and needs a family committed to daily exercise and positive reinforcement training. Walter has not been introduced children but would do best with a child 10 or older as he’s still very much a puppy and learning not to jump or be mouthy.

Walter will be available for adoption after completing his second round of vaccines later in August.

Approved adopters, interested in Walter, will be required to travel to meet him in his foster home.

If you’re looking to add an active, happy-go-lucky buddy to your family, Walter may be your guy!
