Jade

Jade:

Jade (formerly Buddy) is a handsome 9 month old, smooth coated Border Collie. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinees. This playful little pup is a smart little guy and easily trainable. He is already house broke, crate trained and will ring bells on the door to go outside to go potty. He also knows a couple basic commands like sit and lay down. He does have herding instincts and enjoys herding my ducks but is far too interested in cats to live in a home with cats.

Jade is very sweet and loves meeting new people. He is gentle and slow to approach strangers but once they pet him he warms right up. Jade is still learning what life has to offer and is figuring out loud noises won’t hurt him. He has been to Petco and did wonderful in public. We also went hiking and swimming at the lake. He does great on the trail but still needs to learn leash walking manners. At the lake he ran in the water and played but wasn’t very excited about swimming. He is a great swimmig if you coak him out into the water. Jade loves to play with other dogs and will make a wonderful family pet or active hiking companion.
