Piper 

Adopted: Piper has found her forever home. We wish her the very best life possible.

Piper is an outgoing, happy go lucky, smart and very sweet mixbreed puppy! Her parents are unknown, she was dropped off at a shelter at 10 weeks of age and she was said to be a Border Collie, but as she grows it is pretty clear that she is not. She is now 4 1/2 months old and we think she will probably about 40 pounds when grown up. She is an active, energetic puppy but not at the level of a high drive Border Collie. Piper will play with any dog and would love to have a canine companion and lots of activities to keep her busy. She absolutely adores all people including children and follows us around without being overly clingy. We don’t have cats but she is young enough that she can learn to get along with a cat if needed. She is still very much a puppy and tends to chew on things, but can be redirected to a chew toy and is good in her crate when we have to leave her alone. Piper loves water! She fearlessly plunged into the water the first time we took her to a lake and swims like an otter. Even though she tends to stay with her people or canine friends we will prefer a home with a fenced in yard for her to run safely.
