Zero

Zero

Zero has been adopted.

Hi! My name is Zero. I’m a fun loving, high energy, super affectionate, Border Collie whose looking for a special person to call my own. Some people call me a velcro dog since I love to follow my human everywhere and need to be with them almost constantly. I’m still a youngster at only three years old and have had some gaps in my training. My current foster Mom has been working with me on basic commands like sit, stay, down, heel, and leash walking. She says I’m getting it slowly. I really like to say “Hi!” to everyone, but my feet have no bounds when I meet new people and I tend to be a little aggressive with my love. I’m also a little fearful of quick movements and sounds. For these reasons my foster Mom would not recommend me going to a home with small children or elderly adults. My crate is my safe space, but I don’t like being left alone and will let everyone know by vocalizing my discontent. I love to run and need lots of exercise preferably with my human. So if long walks in the woods or on the beach are your thing, and not short walks to the fridge (granted I’ll follow you there too!), I’m your man. When it comes to play time I don’t completely understand fetch or tug. So don’t expect to wear me out by throwing a ball. You might be doing more running than you anticipated. I love meeting new four legged friends, sometimes a little too much, and am good around other dogs and cats. However, if it runs, I will chase it! My foster Mom has some horses, but we have not been thoroughly introduced. Lastly, I am a snuggler and if you let me I will be in your lap, on your couch, and sleep with you to keep you warm at night.

Zero is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, recently neutered, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
