Max

About Max:

Max came to CBCR when his original owner found himself homeless and made the best decision for his puppy to place him with CBCR. His foster has spent the past few weeks helping him develop polite dog manners, he is now completely crate trained, potty-trained, knows sit and come, and will play well with dogs of all sizes. He has not been exposed to cats yet.

Max is a registered ABCA dog so he does have the classic herding instincts and has had a few small interactions with sheep. He has an absolutely wonderful, biddable personality and excellent recall for his age. He would do well with any type of agility, noseworks or herding training as an outlet for his puppy energy. He would also be an excellent running partner! However, a working home is not required for this sweet guy. He would be perfectly fine as a family pet with an adequate amount of exercise. This puppy is a very sweet, sensitive and lovable guy who thrives with lots of attention and love.

Max resides in a multi-dog household, has met many other dogs and people in many environments and is friendly to all. He is the perfect passenger in the car and loves to check out what’s going on outside.

Max is now 8 months old, neutered, and completely UTD on vaccines/shots.
